Embedded flash programming fails on Runber #1

Using the Gowin programmer the Runber board scans the fpga id as a GW1N-4B instead of a GW1N-4 FPGA so will not program it with code built for a GW1N-4 due to ID mismatch. I tried building the code for a GW1N-4B instead and it will load it into SRAM and it runs correctly. However the same code will not load into embedded flash.

I noticed that my version of the RUNBER board (V1.2 20210618) uses a CH552G rather than the FT232HQ shown in the RUNBER schematic. Since the CH552 is emulating the FTDI part perhaps there is a problem with the JTAG support when trying to erase/program the embedded flash? If so I don't see a possible workaround for the problem.

Hillo Gowin's GWU2X is used as the download solution for the board to be reissued later. The Flash has been tested before issuing, and the Sram programming is normal. For the information of the new board, see the attachment, and the latest version of Gowin Programmer can be programmed;

Thanks for your reply. I'm interpreting it to mean that the current board sold by Seeed Studio cannot support embedded flash programming and your company is going to release a new board that will need an external programmer. Is that correct? I did not see an attachment to your message. However thanks for responding. Its disappointing that this nice board cannot be used for anything but temporary experiments.

Hi, Seeed Studio currently has a new version of the board, the 1.2 version of the board replaced the 1.3 version, we reissued the 1.3 version of the board to seeed;
