While I agree that having an apparently long-since abandoned open-source
project appearing in your search results isn't idea, I cannot arbitrarily
delete people's Google Code projects.
However, I believe you have two options:
First, if you contact me at "chrsmith at google.com" I can give you the contact
information for the project's owner. If they are OK with the project being
deleted, then I'm happy to remove it for you both.
Second, if the waslu project is legitimately interfering with any copyrights,
etc. you can submit a lawful DMCA takedown notice using this form:
https://support.google.com/legal/troubleshooter/1114905?hl=en. When prompted
for which Google product the request relates to, select "Other Projects" and
then "Code". Of course, IANAL and a DMCA takedown notice may not apply.
Ultimately the fact that the open-source project doesn't receive any traffic
(and is read-only since Google Code is soon to be shut down), the active
"waslu" should stay in the top of organic results. And as your website grows,
fresher results should push down the Google Code project.
Hope that helps!
