The landing screen is nice, what with the massive image and all that.
That being said, repeating that for multiple screens feels lazy.
In particular, I'd like a "features" section to be interactive. i.e. users should be able to click on a feature showcase button and have a visual of how it works presented to them.
The socials and contributing sections probably don't need a heroic image accompanying it, but what could keep up with such a powerful image in terms of background, gradients? I'd prefer to use backgrounds that have meaning and context with a painting application.

Everyone who visits the MyPaint website will probably visit the landing page. The MyPaint website may be relevant for the following audiences:

Non-users
We need to sell MyPaint to people who don't use it. This means telling them why MyPaint is great, and helping onboard them ASAP.
Suffice to say, increased usage and awareness of MyPaint brings in more interested parties, some of whom may eventually turn into contributors.
Users
Users will either want to download MyPaint, or access one of the pages intended for users:
Developers
Developers will want to use the website as a point of reference when working on the application.
Organisations
Organisations will want to know how to contact us.
