What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download .apk from website
2. Approve permissions to install
3. It says "Installing..." and then "Application not installed".

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Firmware CyanogenEris

I've confirmed this bug with other 'pure Android' firmware builds. Foursquared
must be depending on one of the proprietary Google apps (Market or Google Maps,
most likely).

Cannot reproduce this. We've been posting test builds to the download page for
a few months without any other reported issues.

It appears that the problem is your app depends on Google's proprietary apps,
namely Google Maps. These are not part of the base Android OS and thus cannot
be expected to be found on all phones.

As free software cannot depend on proprietary software to function, this is a
licensing issue.
