Send email with return label to customer #188

What problem does this feature solve?

Currently, when a return label is created from the back-office, no email is sent to the customer.

Our client has reassured us that in previous versions of the module, this was the case. I have been unable to verify this myself, though.

What should the solution look like?

When creating the return label, there should be an option "E-mail return label to customer". Ideally, whether this option is enabled by default can be configured on the module settings page.

Hi @Xesau,

Is it possible to mention all the steps that have been done? And from where do you want to create the return? This is also possible from Prestashop.

I have tested to create a return on an exported order from Prestashop through the back office and get the return email in my mailbox.

Is this mail sent from MyParcel? I see no template for return labels in the /mails directory of this module. Is it required to enable the option "Share e-mail with MyParcel" on the settings page?

Hi @Xesau,

Yes the mail is sent from MyParcel and not through Prestashop. And yes it's required to enable that option, due to privacy reasons you need to enable it to get it working.
