Q: Is our implementation of twitter bots ineffective, or is the idea not a good one
Ideas from @MyfanwyNixon for improvement:
– better wording in the twitterbot bio – perhaps with a link to a page explaining ‘what is this?’ for absolute FOI beginners;
– better wording in the automated tweets – although I do see there’s a limit to how much you can do with the existing material, so maybe the solution is actually a human-maintained feed, sifting out the most interesting requests.
Additionally, if hashtags could somehow be introduced, then the tweets might get in front of new people with a particular interest in the topics under discussion.
