This is aimed at preventing incidences of material being published unintentionally.

It would certainly help improve the presentation for most users, but we'll definitely need to ensure the plain text copy is sufficiently clear as to what needs doing.

The text in expiring_alert.text.erb and expired_alert.text.erb seem reasonably clear to me when used in singular form; but I fear that it might not be so clear if multiple requests were at play.

Having a nice button which allowed you to take action on all requests that are being alerted might help prevent any inadvertent errors.
