A WhatDoTheyKnow user has requested/suggested a service for making complaints to public bodies in public.
A correspondent with mySociety has suggested a "function for publicly collating letters/emails sent to Government Departments, Local Authorities, etc." They say that it is "a vital step in maintaining transparency or gathering information outside the FOI or EIR acts. Also a way to publish letters sent to MPs."
Because it took me a while to find this, I'm going to note some keywords:
I'm pretty strongly -1 on this. Alaveteli adds value by explicitly aiding citizens make information requests.
We did collaborate on WriteInPublic back around ~2015-2018, but it looks like its been abandoned.
That said, Croatia have used Alaveteli as a platform for consumer complaints.
