Consider extracting failedloginblocker, geocoder, metaphone and the choices api things and releasing them on PyPi #1147

This would be good because Open Source but it would also make it a bit clearer in the project what's project specific and what's a helpful thing that's NHS agnostic.

I'd like to see these things all be extracted from the codebase and put onto pypi (the failedloginblocker and geocoder especially)

Releasing onto PyPI is fairly straight forward once you've worked out what it is you need to do. Certainly I don't think any of these have especially tricky setups.

I think failedloginblocker and geocoder were the two things most possible to release out of this - the others are either really small (metaphone) or need significant cleanup work (choices_api) to make generic enough and useful enough to be packaged up. Therefore I'm closing this.
