Feedback 30/8/11:

In this case I knew which of the two LAs were responsible. When this is the case, maybe you could let me choose from the people you're going to send to, to avoid bothering the other(s).

Also - is this something we could actually find out, with a little research? Seems slightly wrong to send them to both when only one is responsible.

See eg http://www.fixmytransport.com/campaigns/get-rid-of-unused-and-vandalised-bus-shelters-inst

Just coming back to this to add that we've had quite a few more cases like this where it would have saved ome council worker's time not to have had to reply to say it's the other council. So plus-1-ing my own point, if I can do that :)

Mass FoI, email or call round?

I would suggest an email to everyone explaining what FixMyTransport is and that it comes from the same people as FixMyStreet. Asking if they are responsible for any bus stops, who is if they are not and then ringing everyone who fails to respond adequately. The problem lies where they are responsible but it depends on a boundary that disappeared years ago (eg Nexus and Tyne and Wear)
