I think the biggest problem with this site is you leave campaigns
open when they are dead and buried. Any item that has been opened
for a length of time, but the debate shows is redundant or indeed
not supported should be closed after a set time.
My Response (possible solution)
We have had discussions for developing the status of campaigns and issues, including feedback from WYPTE (Metro) for a status of "under discussion" (for campaigns where authorities are lobbying for change) and a status for requiring further action by user or operator. Potentially one option would be to mark campaigns as old like our sister site FixMyStreet.
