Display scoreboard of site usage statistics #734

Display site usage statistics based on messages sent and received: Messages from users Messages from operators Messages from supporters

Some more detail:

It would be good to have a simple scoreboard listing whatever parameters we are measuring, perhaps showing them for the previous day, moving average over the previous week, and month – maybe just visible to volunteers for now.

  1. New reports
  2. Messages from users (excluding volunteers!)
  3. Number of supporters (excluding volunteers)

Another idea would be:

  1. Messages from operators but this is not something we can measure at the moment without a mechanism for classifying these.

By way of feedback - it seems to me that if the aim of the site is to build new communities that work to 'build a campaign' on an issue, then the key metric is average number of replies to an issue.
