The admin pages now appear as unstyled - Firefox, Chrome and IE are all blocking 'unsecure content' with the result that only the text is displayed, and (essential in this context) features like auto-complete do not work.
@crowbot showed me that you can disable this via the shield icon to the left of the browser address bar in FF, but it only works for the current page, and it quickly becomes annoying to complete any task requiring more than one or two page refreshes.
