gh-pages branch in this repo has retirement design, and initial draft of text from @MyfanwyNixon. Todo:

[ ] Submit PR to https://github.com/poplus/home-poplus – in particular, check whether FCI are happy with the text on the new index page, and whether they’d like a paragraph adding to explain their current activities (like we have, near the end)
[ ] Decide what to do about http://represent.poplus.org/
[ ] Decide what to do about http://mapit.poplus.org/ (github https://github.com/mysociety/mapit.poplus.org )
[ ] Decide what to do about http://writeit.poplus.org/ (github https://github.com/mysociety/writeit.poplus.org )

Don't know where else this has been discussed, but my penny:

SayIt should just redirect to sayit.mysociety.org, looks to only be one page
PopIt should redirect to popit.mysociety.org or show the same message or a banner
WriteIt - redirect to http://writeit.ciudadanointeligente.org/en/ ? Again, looks like only one page.
MapIt - redirect back to code.mapit.mysociety.org and put the docs up there again?

Those suggestions sound sensible to me - @chrismytton is that the correct URL to point to for WriteIt?

I do think we want to make the http://represent.poplus.org/ redirect to somewhere else if that's possible - @GeorgieBurr is going to check with James.

We can get that documentation on an opennorth.ca subdomain. Jean-Noé: you’ll need to add a CNAME record to opennorth.ca – perhaps "represent-boundaries.opennorth.ca" pointing to "opennorth.github.io."

FYI, we’re using GitHub Pages to publish this repository containing the documentation: https://github.com/opennorth/represent.poplus.org

No issue with adding a banner on Poplus.

@crowbot I think http://writeinpublic.com/en/ is probably the best URL for Writeit.
