We could usefully have a link to the github repo at the bottom of the navs on all our docs sites ('.sidebar ul li a.link-to-github' maybe?) -- perhaps this could be beautified in the themes with a wee logo.

Vaguely already exists - .icon .icon-github could be made top-level without much issue (leave height/margin-left on the button bit, moving the rest), then this could be included in any github link. Works for the footer, I don't know if there's a way to use the same SVG but have it coloured differently when used as a background image as opposed to inline (guess not?).
