This is still linked to from their live site: https://www.salford.gov.uk/your-council/have-your-say/create-a-petition/ and still has live petitions on it, so not sure of next step.
In January they told us they were going to move to modern.gov for petitions and were expecting to have it live by 11 February. They asked to be invoiced for 3 months up to 12 April to cover a transition period. Maybe they haven't done that transition yet, but they haven't told us anything about extending. I think @Rachelbaker78 should get in touch to remind them that shutdown is happening as agreed, and see if they want to pay us some more money not to do that.
Ok, will get in touch.
Who can I speak to, to get a bit more background on this?
@Rachelbaker78 you were copied in to all the emails at the time, so you'll have the background.
Looking through it now.
Thanks Abi!
Salford have pencilled in Monday 24 April as the day they are going to make the switch to their new service.
I am following up with them now to get a solid confirmation.
Vhost gone, still need to clean DNS, email, server config, database.
I've removed the database and vhost definitions, cleared out the references in our DNS and email config and remove the stub vhost directory. This has dealt with the various Nagios alerts.
Still to do:
ref-sign
process running on Milo;Since I started on this, I thought I might as well finish it. There's a dump of the database in the archives on Leopard, otherwise I think it's all been cleared up.
If we don't need to keep the database dump let me know and I'll remove it from the archives.
At 12th April 2017.
