I’ve just seen that you’ve added a Housing section to the voting records – great stuff!
I also spotted that down in the Misc section you have a record on “fees charged to tenants by letting agents”. I think that record would fit well in the new Housing section, so would probably be better there than in the Misc section.
There are also a couple of other ones that are in other sections but that overlap with housing too:
· (In Welfare and Benefits): “reducing housing benefit for social tenants deemed to have excess bedrooms (which Labour describe as the "bedroom tax")”
· (In Taxation and Employment): “an annual tax on the value of expensive homes (popularly known as a mansion tax)”
Because they’re already in meaningful sections it’s perhaps more ambiguous about whether they should be moved to Housing (or duplicated there?), but I’d certainly think that moving the one that’s in Misc up.
I'm not sure a mansion tax has much to do with housing really but I do think:
fees charged to tenants by letting agents (6718) can be removed from of misc. and put under the Housing category
and
reducing housing benefit for social tenants deemed to have excess bedrooms (which Labour describe as the "bedroom tax" (6672) can be duplicated under the Housing category
This is a developer task for next time the page gets updated.
Generally I don't think we want to over-do duplicating the lines.
