User request: alerts to include when the register of interests is updated #1682

I am just reaching out to ask if there was any way I might please set up an alert through your site for any time the House releases the update to the Register of Members’ interests. Your email alert system by topic does not allow for such a specific alert.

I've wondered about this as part of our data annoucements - even doing a tweet would be useful.

The script does send an email when there's new data which is piped to slack, so guess that could do something/note for email alert (though only if you'd get one for a different reason), not sure how it could easily hook up more directly.

This relates a bit to my "also make the xml available as a spreadsheet" project. When we get around to a good public version of that, I think having a good mechanism for announcing it would be good. Doesn't have to be through the existing alerts system.

Will assign myself for the moment to keep track - but conclusion may just be remembering to tweet (/whatever has replaced tweeting).
