Example wording:

Voted strongly for referendums on introducing powerful directly elected mayors in major cities.

Bold: "directly elected mayors"

Based on: http://www.publicwhip.org.uk/policy.php?id=6717

@RichardTaylor which category would you like this under?

RichardTaylor commented 9 years ago

Sorry for the omission; I think it goes well under "reform"; there are other lines there about more powers for local government, and funding local government, which sit well with this one.

So now we also need:

Title: Referendums on Directly Elected Mayors for Major Cities

Details: There have been votes in Parliament on allowing for referendums on the introduction of elected mayors in certain cities including Liverpool, Manchester, Bristol, Leeds, Wakefield and others.
