Looks like the VM never makes it past the UEFI/BIOS. Please run ./macos-guest-virtualbox.sh troubleshoot
and attach the resulting .txt
file here.
Thanks.
The script attempts to take a screenshot every 5 hundredths of a second instead of every 5 seconds. Could you run sleep --help
and check that it interprets the time argument in seconds by default? It's possible you have a different version of sleep
that uses a hundredth of a second by default.
If that's the case, and this version accepts s
as a unit for the time argument, I'll update the script to use s
when specifying the seconds for the sleep
command.
Another, probably unrelated issue, is that your VM appears to be using custom CPUID settings. If you set it deliberately that's fine, but if it's not meant to be set then run VBoxManage modifyvm "macOS" --cpuidremoveall
Closing until further information is provided.
everything goes fine untill the following step
However, the window of the VM stays black, i even turned it off en restarted it, but it just stays black........
this is what i see in the vbox.log file
