Kernel panic when trying to update to Monterey #573

I tried to update via system update to a separate volume but after rebooting for the install, the VM rebooted again due to a kernel panic.

Heres a screenshot of the bootlog at the point that it crashes if it helps.

Other people reported that using 4 cores (instead of the default 2) results in a kernel panic. Try lowering the number of virtual CPU cores to 2.
