Connection Configuration->Advanced->Other Connection Options appears broken #30

I am unable to add to the 'Other Connection Options' list. When I select '+', fill out the form, and then 'OK' nothing is added to the table. I was able to manually add to "connection-attributes" using DB Browser for SQL lite and see my attribute when editing the connection. However, as soon as I closed the dialog my attributes were wiped out. I was also able to manually add "auth-method" which also worked for my use-case. However, again, when I viewed the connection details it wiped out what I added. For reference I am using the authentication-oci plugin for authentication. https://docs.oracle.com/en-us/iaas/mysql-database/doc/connecting-mapped-proxy-user1.html#MYAAS-GUID-533AA304-7CF8-4E9E-9689-9424CF556C17

Hi @cwlowe2007, currently using oci authentication is already supported with some limitations:

Since the authentication mode is configured in the MySQL account, you don't need to specify additional connection options for this.

In MySQL Shell 8.1.0 it is possible to define connection options to define the custom values for the OCI configuration file path and the profile to be used, once we integrate the new Shell version in the Extension that will be possible. And I confirm the issue you mentioned, right now adding additional connection options is not working, we will take a look and fix it.

Thanks for bringing this up!
