Feature Request: Allow Node Runners to offer FREE service to russian, ukrainian ASN #4831

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. The loom of WWIII

Describe the solution you'd like We all agree whats happening at the moment is atrocious. Heinous War crimes are being perpetrated by the russian military. Mysterium AND Node runners can help, by offering russian residential IP addresses free access(If The node runner permits) so they can evade the censorship of their countries and learn about the heinous crimes their soldiers, their sons and brother are committing in Ukraine. Much of the russian population DOES NOT KNOW(and I believe they would not stand for it either) about the war crimes committed by their country. Government run and controlled media keeps them in the dark. Information is key, so lets give every node runner the option to give people that information. Russian people declining to be a part in this war might be the best step for peace.

Additional context To Make it clear: Put this in as an option for node runners, dont make it mandatory. Whoever wants to help should do so out of their free will and choice! Might also make for great marketing in the future!

I understand why you would want this but the protocol has no easy way to support this right now as the prices are set per country. We're actually debating the possibility of free nodes for countries or globally and have some issues created internally and having the ability to have different prices for different nodes.

While we all hate war here, such a feature currently would take too much engineering time (weeks, most probably months), it should come in the future though.

hate to necro this, maybe consider reviving testnet for this issue? it already has the possibility to allow "free" transactions as they happen in MYSTT - I'm not actually familiar with how the proposals are being grabbed but I think its a somewhat centralized effort(aka pulled from a web server). it would be possible to just use testnet and filter the get proposals call to only allow ip addresses with aforementioned countries to request proposals. would be a dirty but quick fix

That's also not that simple sadly. We're already providing free VPN for media companies, journalists, etc. in Ukraine. We're doing best we can, but adding such a feature is just not something we could do in a good amount of time sadly.
