Nintendont not working for me?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Install nintendont
2.follow standard steps
3.try to play.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
(Specifically playing melee) Expected output: Proper functionality.
Instead? Black screen.

What revision of Nintendont are you using? On what system Wii/Wii U?
On the WiiU's vWii
Version 2.249

Please provide any additional information below.

My wiimote doesnt ever stop all 4 lights blinking at once, but my wiiu pro 
does. The pro works fine, but not the wiimote it seems?

I thought maybe having it off just before nintendont starts up that would help 
but nope.

Again, melee 1.02. Ripped from cleanrip off my own disc.

Have you tried a different game?
What controller do you have plugged into the wiimote?
The 3 lights are blinking or on steadily?

havent tried other games

doesnt seem to matter what I plug in, same result

*4, steadily. the wiiu pro is steady but it stops and goes into the 1, the 
wiimote just doesnt stop.
