"Now playing" does not work #3

It cannot be activated. Is this a feature or a bug or am I just stupid? ;-)

Now Playing cannot be activated on most GSIs as far as I'm aware. If you want to use Now Playing, please use Ambient Music Mod.

EDIT: Now Playing seems to be very tightly integrated with Google Pixel software, Evolution X by default ships working Now Playing for Pixel devices, whilst for others it remains unavailable.
