the taskbar in a tablet is duplicated

This also happens in lineageos when using a custom launcher as recents provider

I also got bug with tablet mode navigation bar

Same here, a fresh install with dual navigation bar, but this comment fixed it

maybe it is a fix and I don't know if it is a default feature in EvoX or not but if the Buttons settings is present in the settings app the taskbar will appear as double layer in tablets

I am currently using Android 15 aosp GSI rom without the Buttons option with the same trebuchet launcher and I have a normal single layer taskbar
