Users Receiving Airtel Spam #127

Bayo and @tobiasmcnulty we're not sure what is happening here, perhaps starfish is selling our users numbers? Our users are receiving 3 kinds of Airtel spam and it is confusing them:

  1. IVR calls from Airtel
  2. Afritalk messages that come immediately after sending a message to 55999
  3. Messages from 151

I've raised this with starfish and got no response. Perhaps you two can push this forward with more success.

  1. Airtel makes IVR calls to subscribers from time to time (they are very annoying). What I am not clear about is if these started after they sent messages to 55999.
  2. I will clarify the Afritalk messages with starfish tomorrow.
  3. I think these are the Afritalk messages (515)
