jquery-countdown timer for Joomla 1.7.x and 2.5 #39

Is there any jquery countdown timer for Joomla 1.7 and 2.5? I've been looking 
for a jQuery Countdown timer that can successfully be a native of the above 
versions of Joomla. Or is there a way to convert a Cool jQuery Countdown Timer 
for Joomla 1.5 to Joomla 1.7 or 2.5?

I have this working in a Joomla 1.5 extension I'm developing (soon to become 
2.5). It's just a jQuery plugin, so really there isn't much to do to get it to 
work. You just have to understand how to have jQuery play well with Joomla, as 
Joomla has MooTools at its core. Also, you need to have this triggered/fired 
within an actual extension (i.e., plugin, module or component, depending on 
your needs). But the plugin itself is simple to implement - and trust me, ever 
sooooo sweet. :)
