Dark theme #3

We need to build a dark theme. Let's use this issue to discuss the possible colour palletes and gather our inspirations / ideas / thoughts.

I'm happy to start discussion on it.

Personally, I'm a huge fan of Visual Studio's and VSCode (https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/getstarted/themes) dark themes. It's probably because I work with them everyday :) But.. when e.g. I switched to the dark theme in Outlook - I felt bad at the beginning. IMO it's not done well (https://www.nicklitten.com/wp-content/uploads/dark-outlook.png).

Thanks to your steps done for #7 we can extract some basic colors and construct the color pallete for this one.

I'm happy if we can reproduce something what we know and what works for us, but the final test will be when our lovely editors will start using it.

Do you have any other ideas or good/bad examples of dark theme(s) in use?
