Can you provide us with a small tutorial on how to install this plugin? I can't find it on https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/dosearchsite.action?queryString=pushover&where=conf_all&type=&lastModified=&contributor=&contributorUsername= either ..

Hi Chris, as long as I wait for offical hosting (http://bit.ly/14GePvM), the best thing you can do is to build the plugin from source and manually install it via the Jenkins plugin manager. Then you need to create a Pushover application to get an api key (https://pushover.net/apps/build).

But I really don't know how long that will take, the process is out of my control. But a manual install is not that hard. Go to https://buildhive.cloudbees.com/job/mzehrer/job/jenkins-pushover-notifier/org.jenkins-ci.plugins$pushover/ download pushover-1.0.0.hpi and follow the instructions at https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Plugins#Plugins-Byhand

I tried this but the plugin doesn't show in my plugin list when I upload it through jenkins, nor if I do this manually through shell..

According to @rpetti on #jenkins freenode, you just need to release your plugin to the update center. Could you work through this doc if you've not already: https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Hosting+Plugins Ignore me if you are in the middle of it.

Hi All,

Can you please let us know if this existing plugin can be used directly withing my jenkins project to integrate with Psuh over notifications, if yes please do let me know how we can do that, I am really new to this and would need some help, really appreciate your responses.
