Plugin no longer works in Wordpress 3.3 #28

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install WP 3.3
2. Existing account stops working. Setting it up again leads to this failure: 
"Could not authenticate with OAuth". The log says:
"Twitter auth failed: Could not authenticate with OAuth.

I don't actively develop the plugin anymore since I moved my blog to Jekyll. 
But I'm happy to accept patches.
