Styled placemark samples use GIF image that is 404 #412

Which products are affected?
kml-samples

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open kml/Placemark/styled_placemark.kml or 
kml/Placemark/styled_placemark2.kml
2. Note that the Icon link is 
<href>http://code.google.com/events/io/images/logo.gif</href>
3. Try to download this - note 404.

What is the expected output or behavior? What do you see instead?
Expect that the KML samples use valid web links. The link is 404.

What application versions (if any) are you using?
N/A
