ATV2 xbmc mythbox DB connection fail on LAN connection errno 57

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.setup failure of mysql database setup in Mythbox when using ethernet on ATV2

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect connection to pass 'test connection', instead fails with 'could not 
connect to mythtv host IP errno 57 socket.....'

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Using mythbox 1.1.0 on ATV2 xbmc eden beta 2

Please provide any additional information below.
Mythbox works 100% when using wireless connection ATV2 (so database parameters 
are correct). However when plugged into ATV2 ethernet database connection fails 
with error errno 57 socket.... When using ethernet smb shares are accessed with 
no problems and xbmc can play back mythtv recording's in xbmc via the myth 
protocool. I have googled and tried everything to do with IP config's in 
/etc/hosts & /etc/mysql/my.cnf. No change. Google also doesnt show up anyone 
else suffering this error. I have enabled logging and will attach later.

I have the same problem. Almost every time I open mythbox I see the above 
mentioned  error message (error 57, socket could not connect). Then the 
settings page of mythbox opens automatically. 
When I switch between the settings' sub pages without changing anything and 
click on "test"' afterwards it looks ok in about 1 out of 5 tries. 
Then mythtv works perfectly. If the test fails mythtv crashes when I switch to 
the mythobx main page.

XBMC 10.0-0~b3
Mythtv 0.24 on Ubuntu
Mythbox 1.1.0
Gigabit-LAN-Connection

Today I tried Mythbox with WIFI and I can say it works perfectly. I can affirm 
that the socket connection error only occurs when using cabled ethernet.

I've the problem. Errno 57 when using wired network. And it works when using 
wireless.
