I used ryzen threadripper 3970x, windows10 x64.

https://github.com/n00mkrad/flowframes/blob/main/Code/Media/FfmpegExtract.cs 1.36.0 mentions a "fast frame counting" thingy. Maybe you could try the "HQ JPEGs" option too?
