Hmm I use JunOS pulse too. I'll take a look at it. Kind of weird that Juniper would add JB detection. But at the same time I guess it makes sense from a security perspective.
At least in their release notes they admit to JB detection unlock other apps i've seen.
My advise for the time being is if you have the previous IPA just roll back for now.
That was a lightning fast response! Thank you!
I have not installed it yet, i read the notes first! So i am good for now.
I just happen to be up working other apps. ;) Hmm it must be policy based because I just tested it with my work VPN and it didn't say anything about jailbreaking. What message are you getting?
Oh you haven't upgraded. Gotcha. Let me poke at it.
Yeah it's policy based it looks like. Which means it won't actually check if it's jailbroken unless the company enforces the policy. However let me see what I can do just to be on the safe side.
Much appreciated. Thank you!
Funny it appears xcon already handles some of the stuff they check. Looks like just some minor stuff I need to add.
OK I think i have it ready so if your company does push that policy before we can get a beta or release version out just reply here and I'll push a beta version.
I will advise... Thanks again...
Manually installed the 38 beta 1 package using dpkg, Junos Pulse Version 4.1.0.27639 unfortunately still detects the Jailbreak.
Thanks. I haven't had to use Pulse in a while and unfortunately my company doesn't care about jailbreaking so they don't have the check enabled, however I'll keep poking at it when I get some time.
Junos Pulse turned into Pulse Secure... using xCon 42 beta 2 and it detects jailbreak...
Hi, i have been using JunOS Pulse for sometime now on JB device with no issues. They just released version 4.1 that will detect JB. Let me know if you can overwrite with xCon, I have a test environment if needed. Thanks
