Bad Piggies #276

Hi, I can't play this game because of the jb detection ! The game crash after the rovio logo. I tried to install a bad piggies patch with Flex supposed to disable the jailbreak detection but it doesn't work !

I haven't been able to load the game since May, then it dawned on me that the problem is probably caused by JB detection. I believe most jailbreakers who play Bad Piggies are experiencing the same issue, someone even mentioned it in the reviews for the game on the AppStore. So I went into safe mode on both my iOS devices (running 6.1.2) and the game launched. I have a crash report for the app; even though I don't know what any of it means I stumbled on some lines mentioning MobileSubstrate. So... what can we do to help get Bad Piggies covered by xCon? I suppose Piix, the OP can help too. Thanks a lot.

It's not a JB Detection issue, but they are doing some stuff that xcon is blocking that appears that it shouldn't be blocking. I'll have to investigate it more. In the mean time you can either play it in safe mode or just disable xcon if you want to play this game.

OK I found the culprit. Now to figure out why it's crashing.

I removed xCon, AND went to SafeMode, yet BP still crashes on startup, 100% of the time. Does anyone have any other idea about this?

Maybe there is something else interfering for you deep in your device. For me, safe mode works. But I don't like going into safe mode all the time. The only reason I have xcon is for TV streaming services from my cable company. Fingers crossed for a solution.
