Vasco Apps Unsupported #374

Could you add the Vasco soft token apps? There are four iterations (most of which currently close out immediately if you open them while jailbroken).

Thank you!!!

+1 from me, I really need a solution or I have to use old VERY INSECURE tan codes.

Another App is "Crontosign", a lot swiss banks are using it. Flex can't find anything, so I think the protection is a little bit better than others. Also Save-Mode doesn't help. It just shows a message about "Jailbreak detected".

Please Please fix this and let us know where we can donate. The sell their Jailbreak-Protection as Security Feature. But atm every iPhone is jailbreakable which doens't make any sense...

If you need an app, please let me know.

I don't use but to see if ti works I just installed digipass for mobile on my iphone 5s, iOs 7.03 with xCon 39 beta 7 and it goes in without kicking out at all.

Also seems to work with McAfeee EMM version 4.8

blankster commented 10 years ago

Really? I've installed xCon 39 beta 7 with "dpkg -i [debname]", rebooted my iPhone and it kicked me out again. But perhaps the problem is, that "Crontosign Swiss" (also from Vasco) isn't on the supported list?

I really don't know what to do now... Do you have any idea how I can help?

Seconding blankster's response, If I can provide logs or do some kind of testing I'd be happy to help. I do not have any experience with the Swiss app, just the ones in the opening post.

AnimalUK commented 10 years ago

I just download and installed Crontosign Swiss from the Appstore and it starts the app, goes to the welcome screen to activate but and doesn't kick me out (I obviously can't go any further than that due to not being in any swiss bank :)

Wow, thanks a lot! That's really strange. Perhaps I'm overlooking something. My way was:

  1. Download http://goo.gl/SM14GX
  2. SSH to my iphone and "dpkg -i [packetname]"
  3. Reboot
  4. Try the app

Do I have to "activate" it somewhere or something like this?

AnimalUK commented 10 years ago

Nope. Only difference was I downloaded beta7 and installed it from ifile without SSH'ing from a PC, but that was all.

Is it showing up in your list of installed packages in Cydia ?

blankster commented 10 years ago

Yeah, I've uninstalled it via Cydia so I think it was installed the right way. I've installed it as root. I'll try it again, because when you say it works then it should work I think. Are you on 7.0.6 too or on 7.0.4?

AnimalUK commented 10 years ago

I'm actually running 7.03. Not sure if that makes a difference than higher iOs's

blankster commented 10 years ago

Damn of course 7.0.3. It's really strange. I've SCPed it to /tmp/ and installed it as you via iFile. I've started it and in normal mode it crashes back to the Springboard after showing their splash-logo. When I change to save mode and run it again, it doesn't show me the "Jailbreak detected" message and I'm able to use the app. When I scan then a code it shows me the number but my backing application tells me "device not supported" (what means that it generates other numbers when it detects a jailbreak).

I also tried to re-install the app from the app store because I tought it has something to do with this perhaps.

EDIT: When I don't have xcon installed, it shows me the "Jailbreak detected" message in save mode and of course crashes back in normal mode anyway. EDIT2: When I uninstall xcon, the message (only in safemode) is back again EDIT3: My configuration: iPhone 5S, 64bit, iOS 7.0.6, xCon 39 beta 7
