I have been having an issue with various apps failing to open and if they do finally open after many tries the app will hang and crash. I was thinking it was an issue with the jailbreak, however, this problem presisted over versions of jailbreaks and iOS updates and recently did a clean install of iOS and jailbreak and manually installed my apps and the problem is still there. I was about to give up on my jailbroken ipad 2 and just remove it. I recently installed iClean which allows you turn off the various cydia substrates addons. After a process of elimination if I turn off the xcon addon all the apps which would not open now open without an issue. When I re-enable xcon again the apps stop working so it is very consistent.
Some of the apps giving me issues are:
Pandora
TED Talk
Seeking Alpha
Apple Insider
All the Apple installed apps work fine with or without xcon enable.
Not sure why xcon is interferring with various apps, I was wondering if others are seeing this issue. At this point I disable xcon except when I use an app that checks for a jailbreak like Directv.
Same here though started with 42b4. Was ok before going to see if I can track down beta 3. If anyone has a copy love to grab. Not sure how to pull off version from Repo. Thanks.
