I mainly want to give a big thank. I have been running the PiClock for over 2 years go. It was easy to install and setup for a simi-novice user. The instructions are easy to follow even a beginners. I have noticed a lot more traffic on the project over the last several months asking for changes. In regards to this I am saying please leave the basic function of this project alone. I do not want a lot of what has been asked for. For example - Traffic reporting. I do agree there are some tweaks that can be done. Mainly how to deal with the text when you decide to change the background.

Put a black outline around the main components - text/blocks/clock parts/etc. - http://bit.ly/2fRItZf

This would make it where you could pick any background and not have to worry about changing the other colors to work with it.

It would also be nice for it to do a internet check every 5,10,or 15 minutes to restart or something. I have noticed sometimes the map part of the weather map does not load up. I usually just ssh in and reboot it.
