Day/Date does not increment at midnight #3

Hi,

I really like your implementation. Its clearly the best one out there for RPi.

But I've run into a problem in a fork of your repo. For some reason, the day/date do not increment at midnight. Unless I restart the clock, they never will. The clock itself runs fine.

Could you have a look please, or let me know what I may be doing wrong?
