Duplicate selected lines - shortcut #1386

As the title says, a shortcut for duplicating the selected lines would be very
handy. I really miss this feature since I use it constantly when programming in
Netbeans. In Netbeans, the shortcut is ctrl+shift+downarrow. If no text is
selected, only the line with the marker is duplicated.

Would appreciate this greatly

I concur. Most IDEs have a shortcut such as "ctrl D" that duplicates the current line. This would be very helpful for writing maths where each subsequent line is very similar to its previous line.
