Strange unicode character inserted when switching windows in Mac, causing invisible compilation error #1500

Platform: [Mac OsX Maverick or Yosemite]
Version : [texMaker 4.4.1]

When I turn off embedded pdf viewer, and enter full screen mode, and do a quick
build, the pdf viewer will be opened on another full screen. So far so good.
But when I swipe back to the editor, if I type on of the direction key (up,
down, left, right) immediately after I swipe back to the editor, an invisible
unicode character is inserted in my document. This invisible character caused a
lot of pain, as the document won't compile, and the error is invisible. I have
to use the direction key to move the curser from the beginning of the error
line to the end of the line, and see if at some point, the cursor stops moving
when I type 2 right (then I know that's where the invisible character is)
