pdflatex not looking in build directory #1513

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

TexMaker 4.4.1 under Windows 8.1

The F6/pdflatex step puts the .aux file(s) in the build directory.

However, the F11/bibtex step will look in the default directory (not the build
directory).

So after step F6/pdflatex, you can manually copy the .aux file(s) from the
build directory to the default directory.

It would be nice if TexMaker would have pdflatex look in the build directory,
depending on the configured build option.

Just take a look at the manual and at the tip for this option :
http://www.xm1math.net/texmaker/doc.html#SECTION42
Unfortunately, the "--output-directory=build" parameter is only supported by
the latex and pdflatex commands and not by bibtex
