Ctrl+Click not working in Windows 8.1 #1524

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Right mouse click on the editor
2. Click on "Jump to PDF" (same on viewer + "Jump to the line")

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It is expected to go to the corresponding line in the viewer if you are
clicking in the editor and vice-versa. It does nothing.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
TexMaker 4.4.1 on Windows 8.1

Please provide any additional information below.
It was working until a couple of week ago, I don't know why it stopped working.
I tried to uninstall and reinstall both Texmaker and MikTeX without any
improvement of the situation.

That's probably because the synchronization between the .tex document and the
pdf has been broken.

I don't know what you exactly mean, but I think you are saying that is
something related to this specific file. In fact I now tried on another file
and it works perfectly. Have you any idea why the synchronization could be
broken here?

(and thank you very very much, by the way!)

I solved my problem: moved my file in another folder and now it works.

Probably something like Google Drive was creating some problem with the
synchronization.

I just solved the same problem. I had my file in a folder named "Diseño mecánico". Just corrected the space caracter, the "ñ" an the accent (now the name of the folder is "Diseno_mecanico"), and all works perfect now. (You are not allowed to use spetial characters to name the file or the FOLDERS wher the file is).

To summarize: Just make sure any folder in the whole path do not contain spaces and/or special characters (including the .tex file).

Hope it helps.
