I am a huge fan of Texmaker and owe a lot to Texmaker.
Feature request 1: If one names a reference \label{thm: independence of eigenvalues} and uses \ref{thm: independence of eigenvalues} often as indicated by the reference drop-down menu; Only to realize later that it should actually be "thm: independence of eigenvectors". Renaming all its \ref{} calls across all the files is time consuming. If there were an option that Texmaker prompts asking if the user wants to replace all \ref{thm: independence of eigenvalues} in the project to \ref{thm: independence of eigenvectors}. It would save a lot of time.
Feature request 2: Mention master document on top of file. This saves the trouble of clicking "Define Current document as Master" every time Texmaker is booted.
Thanks
Parthe Pandit
PS: I wish I could contribute to the project and make the improvements myself, but I dont know how to join the project, neither do I have the requisite coding skills to contribute to pre-existing opensource software, something I plan on learning in the near future.
