I just started using a Pi3, and I'd be interested. What did you have in mind?
@jamescurran, I am also new with using the Pi3. I have consumer product in mind where our devices could recommend grocery items they need to restock on. It would do this using push notifications to users base on their geo location. But of course I am also open to other suggestions.
I'm not sure I'm following "push notifications to users base on their geo location" --- The Pi senses that it has been carried into a grocery store, and displays a message saying "Good time to buy bread"?
Now, the basic idea of a device to recommend grocery items sounds good. How were you proposing we determine what needs to be restocked?
Push notifications will be sent to their mobile phone. A similar concept would be how some of the new home security system like "Ring" works by sending a message to our phone that someone is at our door. Let's meet to discuss...I have the conceptual idea but there may be a few rough edges to iron out.
I have also started playing with Pi3 recently and I'd be interested. Let me know if you are meeting to discuss this.
Thanks narenda-1 for your interest. I would like to run thru some dates with Steve before we commit on our initial meet date. In addition, since we will be operating under his user group, we should get his blessings before moving too far ahead. Let's put this to a discussion with everyone at our next N3UG meeting if that is ok.

@DavidTaylor1 in order to get started, just give me a "name" for your project and I will create a GitHub repo for you. Once that's done, you can use the repo to begin collecting "requirements" and start defining your project. I would suggest starting out by using the "Read.me" file to describe your project, what it is you will be building. When you're ready to begin development, use the "issues" to enter tasks and manage the work. If you have any questions, let me know.
@stevefabian Giving that the project name is the most difficult part of the project, for now, let's go with "tagalongs" as the project name.
@DavidTaylor1 I created the "TagAlongs" repo, have fun. I will be following the project, so if you have any questions at all just create an issue in the TagAlongs repo and I'll be notified and will respond. Good Luck! enjoy!
Hi all. As Stephen suggest in a different issue discuss topic, would anyone in our N3UG be interested in working with me on a Windows 10 Core wirh Rasberry Pi 3 open source project?
