T4 Krogoth range #562

Hey!

T4 Krogoth has bigger range that anti t4 units like Grim Reaper. Thats not good :D

Absolutely agree with that.

Now I remember myself complaining about range a couple of months ago and that was a mistake, only now I realize it lol.

So yeah nix. We need it back to 1400 range. It was fairly balanced then. (T4 krog has 1400 range as well). I think making them slower and shit like that is out of the question considering they're already slow as fuck. So yeah, just nerf Grim Reaper to its previous state/range instead of fucking with T4 (which is pretty shitty for T4 imo) https://github.com/n3wm1nd/TA/issues/504 ^

That's what I wanted to say, but

It can't be that grim reaper outranges EVERYTHING. That's why we have the ultimate unit - hero. Though it still makes sense considering almost every unit is useless vs. snipers of T2 because of their range. Can you kill T2 ARM snipers with range with ANY T2 unit? You can't. Grim reaper is just a sniper for T3/T3.5 from TLL. It SHOULD outrange T4 just like T2.5(1200range) sniper of core out-ranges almost any T3 unit.

Why shouldn't that be case with grim reapers? Anyway, I still think it's not a bad idea to revert Grim Reaper to the old state. Before issure #504 even appeared. I'd be completely content with that.

But pumping range of T4 krog/bantha? Yeah, no.

Also I'd vote for leaving it as it is. 1600 range of its starburst launcher is a low dmg weapon (~500 DPS for T4) so whatever.

All unit have to be countered (except Tsar Canon & TLL Control station for the orbital Ion Cannon). So Hero & T4 Krog have to have weapons with range = or < to T4 Def (Tachion, Anti T3/T4 experimental wepon & by Grim sniper)

Konecat grim does not have a larger range, Krog largest range 1600 v grim 1550 so not a larger range but it's close
