Using Prostetnic highlighter 2.0.5.1-signed. This happens when I restart GNU IceCat 31.6.0 (based on Firefox ESR 31.6.0) in Trisquel GNU/Linux.

I did not have this problem with Search term highlighter (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/searchtermhighlighter/). Perhaps you want to use their code in some instances?

I've had that problem, too. I haven't figured out what's causing it. So far I've only seen it on Wikipedia.

@n8chz This is not a problem with textMark. You might want to look into that code.
