Not recording sound

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. On my Mac Mini I have a logitech webcam with a microphone
2. There is no way to select an audio source 
3. Press record button

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Sound and video but you only get video with no sound...

What version of the product are you using? On which Macintosh operating system?
V 0.12

Please provide any additional information below.
Intel based mac, latest version of OS.

Does audio work in iMovie? in iChat? I should be just getting the standard 
Quicktime Audio+Video sequence 
grabber.

ichat works great finds camera and lets you chose Line in or camera mic.

iMovie can't find the camera, which sucks, too!  This is a new Logictech  
webcam for 
Mac which comes with no software, just plugs in.

But  works great with QuickTime Pro where you can select mic and camera you 
want to 
use. My guess is you are defaulting to the Line In audio. You need to do what I 
chat 
does, let you chose. Sometimes I like to use a special USB mic which has very 
directional pick-up.
