Fails to launch because of mlt version not found

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Install flowblade_0.6.0-1_all.deb
2.Launch flowblade
3.Don't profit

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Instead of Flowblade launching, it exits with an error message in the terminal 
emulator (when launched using a menu entry, no message is displayed at all)
The message is :
FLOWBLADE MOVIE_EDITOR 0.6.0
----------------------------
Launch script dir: /usr/bin
Running from installation...
MLT found, version: MLT not found, exiting...

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Flowblade 0.6.0-1 / Debian 6.0 / libmlt++3 0.6.2-0.0

The code being run here is:

    import mlt

So it seems that some mlt Python binding is available because "import mlt" does 
not crash, but then "mlt.LIBMLT_VERSION" does crash, as if mlt Python bindings 
you're using do not have LIBMLT_VERSION available.

You're using very old MLT: libmlt++3 0.6.2-0.0, so  LIBMLT_VERSION may have 
been added later, I don't think I've ever/in two last two years used 0.6.2.

The proposed fix is to ugrade MLT and it's python bindings to at least 0.7.6. 

Does terminal command:
 sudo apt-get install python-mlt3 
succeed and fix the issue?

If you're comfortable editing code you can remove line:     

print "MLT found, version:", mlt.LIBMLT_VERSION

from script: /usr/bin/flowblade, and see if that helps.
